Just make sure you aren’t showing more skin than the bride is! Even if you feel young and hot, your role on the wedding day is to be a mother first and foremost. A little bit goes a long way, so consider a slit in the leg, skipping the sleeves, or going with a knee-length dress.
Look for high-fashion details
Too many sequins or jewels can look matronly. It’s better to find a dress that has some beautiful details, but isn’t overwhelmed by them. Look for stitching or lace that looks, and makes you feel, young and trendy.
